Concentric Pumps appoints Sales Director

Brendan Quill (35) has been appointed Sales Director at Concentric Pumps Ltd, a division of Concentric plc, the Birmingham-based manufacturer of pumps for diesel engines, which has recently been acquired by Haldex of Sweden.

Brendan joins Concentric from Hendrickson Europe Ltd, part of the US specialist in truck axles and suspensions, where he was Sales and Marketing Manager. He has over ten years experience of the automotive industry, including some time in the Scania Trucks network, and is well known among the heavy truck OEMs in Western Europe and in emerging markets.

Originally from Milton Keynes, Brendan Quill has an HNC in Business and Finance. As Sales Director he will be based in Concentric's Birmingham plant which is also the group centre of excellence for design, development and engineering. In his new role, he will lead the team responsible for sales of the Concentric range of pumps throughout Europe, including the revolutionary variable flow oil pump (VFP).

Concentric is a leader in diesel engine pump technology for applications ranging from trucks and buses to materials handling, construction, agricultural and off-highway machinery. In addition to oil, fuel and water pumps for diesel engines, Concentric also manufactures fan support brackets and lubrication pumps for transmission and compressor applications. In addition to the headquarters plant in Birmin bgham UK, there are manufacturing plants in the USA, India and China as well as a sales office in Germany.
